The former house of Regent Sotolongo is today occupied by the hotel, and was originally constructed in the late 18th century. A beautiful inner courtyard with exuberant greenery is a magnificent place to rest and cool down with a refreshing cocktail. On offer are a total of 14 rooms, of which three are junior suites, spread across two floors. Guests are offered a welcoming lobby with a reception, a safe, a cloakroom and currency exchange desk. Further facilities include a café, a bar, and a restaurant. Younger visitors are lovingly cared for in the kids club. Guests may relax in the Entresuelos bar or dine in the La Paella restaurant, which has already won six national and international awards. The hostel is a place proud of its Valencia traditions, and has been justly called the Valencia House in Havana. This hostel is located on a convenient corner, not far from the Museo del Automóvil and the Casa Oswaldo Guayasamín. The Museo de Historia Natural, about 100 m from the hotel, offers interesting attractions, as does the Plaza de Armas and the Plaza de San Francisco de Asis, about 200 m away. The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a minibar, a hire safe, and either a balcony or terrace. The air conditioning is centrally regulated. Guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from an à la carte menu and at lunch a set menu is additionally available. It is also possible to book a half-board or bed and breakfast stay. MasterCard and VISA are accepted in the hotel.
