Renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises several buildings with a total of 160 rooms (Suites and Junior Suites). Surrounded by a 4,200 m² garden, the hotel is the perfect place for couples, singles and families to meet, mix and mingle. You will experience the warmth of true Mexican hospitality while enjoying our powdery, white sand beachfront peppered with shade palapas and loungers, in one of our various bars and restaurants or simply by enjoying yourself by the poolside. This family and beach hotel is located in the north of Cancun, at the tip of the seaside fishing village of Puerto Juarez, a little and quiet village of fishermen and gateway to Isla Mujeres. The centre of Cancun is 15-20 minutes by car and the international airport is 40 minutes away. All rooms (Superior and Junior Suites) are spacious and bright, decorated in a contemporary style with a traditional Mexican flare, and provide a lovely ocean or garden view. Many have a balcony or terrace. Junior Suites offer additional space with a sunken living area. They all include a choice of 1 king size bed or 2 double beds, one large private bathroom equipped with a combination bathtub/shower, direct dial telephone, ample toiletries and a safe deposit box (nominal fee). Cots are available upon request. The hotel offers 4 restaurants and 3 bars. El Palmar restaurant serves all three meals in the form of a buffet and is located inside the hotel with views of the ocean. Its dinner themes change nightly featuring an internationally inspired menu. The Ostras & Oysters restaurant has views of the marina and the distant Isla Mujeres, and specialises in seafood. The Italian La Terraza restaurant is open-air and adjacent to the beach. The Dinner Theater is air conditioned and offers live entertainment 3 times a week. All bars offer snacks and drinks. Room service is available for the continental breakfast. The resort offers a large free form pool with an attached childrens swim area, 3 inset hot tubs surrounded by fibre-optic light displays, daily activities for adults and children and nightly entertainment and weekly live shows. Other sport and leisure options on offer include non-motorised water sports (windsurfing and kayaking), introductory scuba lessons, a lit tennis court, basketball, volleyball and a soccer field, as well as indoor and outdoor kids club with fully supervised activities and an exercise room. It is possible to upgrade to the Go Silver programme with the following additional amenities to the all-inclusive: premier menu at à la Carte restaurants, international brands of alcoholic beverages, room service for lunch and dinner, lobster dinner (seasonal), daily bottled water in the room, free use of the sauna, steam room and whirlpool at the spa, safety box without charge, 10% discount at the spa and beauty parlour and 10% discount on the hotel travel agencys tours.
